Bare Bones at our Salerno Road location offered the perfect mix of casual-waterside and fine dining, and the top-notch food you have come to expect from Bare Bones. We were proud to be the four time winner of the "Taste of Martin County" for our ribs (2001, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007). We have brought our Chef and his recipes along with us to our new Stuart location.  We are now OPEN at our new location on Federal Highway.  Look for your Bare Bones favorites, as well as some new ones - sure to become a new favorite. Come by and taste for yourself!

Bare Bones provides unique lunch and dinner specials that change daily. We will be doing more of the same and doing them better in our new expanded kitchen. History:
Joe Reese and Steve McClune first met while studying Food Service at Pennsylvania State University, and later became partners to open Bare Bones Restaurant & Bar, August 1988 in St. John’s Plaza, Ellicott City. These fraternity brothers worked hard to develop what they call the "Bare Bones" concept. Baby Back Ribs were the house specialty from the start, along with other barbecue and grill items. The addition of a microbrewery in 1996 was the ultimate compliment to the Ellicott City menu and the restaurant was renamed Bare Bones Grill & Brewery. Beyond that point, the concept of a Bare Bones Grill in South Florida came to be. Bare Bones Grill in Stuart, Florida offers the same charm of Bare Bones Grill & Brewery, but with many unique menu items and waterfront access. South Floridians have come know what many in Ellicott City, MD have known for decades.  We thank you for 10 great years at this location and look forward to 10 years more at our new location.
